For nearly 100 years, Easterseals has been an indispensable resource for individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs and their families. Throughout all life’s moments – from the extraordinary to the ordinary and everything in between – Easterseals helps individuals reach for their full potential. In fact, Easterseals Southern California (ESSC), a Leaders Circle sponsor of the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce, now has over 2,500 employees serving over 10,000 clients daily.

In honor of its upcoming 100th anniversary, Easterseals will kick off a year-long celebration on January 1, 2019, with its first-ever float in the 2019 Rose Parade® presented by Honda. The float theme is, ‘Celebrating Easterseals. 100 Years of Disability Services.’

New this year to Irvine and to the Greater Irvine Chamber, Easterseals Southern California is delighted to invite fellow Chamber members to join in on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and volunteer to help decorate its float.

Decorating schedule, age restrictions, and volunteer information.

To volunteer, visit easterseals2019roseparade.com by December 1, 2018.

With the launch of its “Celebrate. Don’t Separate.” campaign in 2018, Easterseals is working to change the way the world views and defines disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. The organization works diligently to remove physical, cultural, attitudinal and legal obstacles so people with disabilities have every opportunity to live meaningful and productive lives, on their own terms.
