Friday, September 21, 2018
Sarah HashimiSPHR has been named the Greater Irvine Chamber Ambassador of the Month for August 2018. For her active participation in the Chamber since January, 2017, Hashimi was a logical choice for the recognition.
During her time as a member, Hashimi has become an Ambassador and attended various Chamber events including Business Outlook and Celebrate Irvine. As a volunteer for the Business Outreach Rally in both 2017 and 2018, she helped to conduct primary research on the needs of local businesses and provide them with copies of the Business Outreach Resource Guide, which features information about support resources offered through the Chamber and its partner organizations.
“By joining the Greater Irvine Chamber and having access to the Chamber’s advocacy programs, business resources, and networking opportunities, I have gained an edge over the competition in the insurance industry,” Hashimi said. “My involvement as a Greater Irvine Chamber member is a proven investment to the growth of my business.”
Hashimi has more than 12 years of Government Contracting experience. She spent 10 years as a United States Homeland Security Foreign Policy advisor. Throughout her roles as Director of Human Resources and Director of Human Capital Management, she has managed several annual budgets in excess of $10 million and several multi-million dollar programs. Upon transitioning to the wealth management industry, Hashimi joined MassMutual DBA Signature Resources, headquartered in Southern California.
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), is backed by a mutually-owned company that has helped people keep their promises, protect their families, and support their communities since 1851. MassMutual calls it Living Mutual, and it’s in their DNA. MassMutual is committed to helping their customers secure their future and protect their loved ones.
Congratulations, Sarah Hashimi!
