Jessica Welch, senior director of operations for the Greater Irvine Chamber, graduated from one of Orange County’s most prestigious programs, Leadership Tomorrow, on May 22 at the Bahia Yacht Club.

“I am grateful for the opportunities our thriving region provides,” Welch said. “The Leadership Tomorrow program has provided me with deep insights into the needs of our business community and has allowed me to broaden my professional network and make connections that present me with opportunities to give back to the community in meaningful ways.”

Also among several community leaders who graduated in the program’s Class of 2018 were Greater Irvine Chamber members Dan Han of Agapay and senior vice chair of the Greater Irvine Chamber Board of Directors, Kathy Lamm of Farmers Insurance, and Sophia Rose of Rose Consulting.

The insights into to Orange County that Leadership Tomorrow provides makes it easy for community-minded leaders to identify areas where they can contribute their skills. Program graduates connect with distinguished public and private sector speakers and panelists, which allows them to participate more aggressively in finding creative solutions to community issues.

The nine-month program provides participants an opportunity to learn about community infrastructure and service agencies in Orange County. Workshops provide guidance on how to address community issues, enhance, and develop professional networks and increase effectiveness as leaders. Topics include:
