Irvine Director of Transportation Mark Linsenmayer to Provide Update for Business, Community Leaders at Greater Irvine Chamber

Irvine Director of Transportation Mark Linsenmayer will address business and community leaders during the Greater Irvine Chamber Government Affairs meeting on Thursday, June 7, 8 – 9:30 a.m.

Linsenmayer will discuss opportunities to improve mobility in Irvine.

Appointed as Irvine's Director of Transportation, in June 2017, to address transportation needs, Linsenmayer manages all aspects of transportation, including traffic management and transit planning, and serves as the staff liaison to the newly created Transportation Commission

In his previous role as Deputy Executive Officer of Countywide Planning for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Linsenmayer was responsible for programming and oversight of several transportation initiatives. He brings transportation engineering and management experience to his role.

Linsenmayer earned a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from University California, Irvine and a master’s in Public Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver.
