Monday, February 12, 2018
Cassandra Miller, CEO of See Jane Go, a uniquely feminine ride-hail service that offers a safer more comfortable ride and flexible income earning opportunities for women, will be among a lineup of dynamic speakers who will address hundreds of professional women (and men) at the Greater Irvine Chamber’s 2018 Women of Influenceon Thursday, March 8, at the Irvine Marriott.
Miller is a serial entrepreneur who has spent her career building, developing, and growing service businesses. Her unique skill set is best described as a Business Architect. She sees the vision for an organization and translates the company vision to an intricate structure of technology, service, operations, and innovative customer experiences.
“Cassandra is an inspirational figure with an indomitable entrepreneurial spirit,” said Danni Remington Smithson, senior vice president/group manager, Pacific Western Bank, and Women of Influence planning committee chair. “Not only has she identified a need for women in the ride-share space, but she has successfully navigated the ups and downs of start-ups and is focused on attracting venture capital for See Jane Go.”
Miller is a founding executive of the See Jane Go team and is responsible for leading the organization from the early stages of a start-up to a powerful competitor in the ride-hail space.
Miller has also been sought out for her ability to translate data and disparate company information into meaningful dashboards and actionable metrics to enhance the ongoing and strategic decisions of her businesses. UC Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business recognized this talent and in conjunction with a tenured professor has taken her methods and developed a course in Strategic use of Data in Management for the business schools Executive Education Program. She co-teaches this course for executive level students.
Miller earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from UC Irvine, and graduated with honors from UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, Executive MBA program.
Miller joins Eldonna Lewis Fernandez, retired MSgt., USAF, author, and Toastmasters Accredited Speaker; and keynote speaker Rosie O’Neill, co-founder and chief creative officer of Sugarfina, a luxury candy boutique. The women will discuss details of their journey that allowed them to “be bold” in their careers.
Following up on her high-energy panel participation at the Women of Influence event last year, Kim Shepherd will return to the 2018 event as Master of Ceremonies. Unconventional and witty, the author and chairwoman of Decision Toolbox, a provider of recruitment solutions, and its parent company, Engage2Excel, Shepherd is a highly sought-after speaker.
