Greater Irvine Chamber Hosts Delegation from Shandong Province, China
Monday, December 18, 2017
In partnership with California State University, Long Beach, the Greater Irvine Chamber on Dec. 14 hosted at its office a delegation of business leaders from Shandong Province, China, who were on an exploratory trip to the U.S.
The delegates were representatives from the largest state and private companies in Shandong, a province known for Great Wall Wine—the largest brand of wine in the nation and a large source of pride for the region. The visiting delegates were particularly interested in innovative and logistics industries in Irvine.
Via an interpreter speaking Mandarin Chinese, a presentation on the strengths of Irvine and its business ecosystem was led by Linda DiMario, executive vice president of the Greater Irvine Chamber, with a portion delivered in Chinese by Tatumn Walter, manager of International and Business Development, also of the Chamber.
