Greater Irvine Chamber Emerging Business Leaders Hosts Mixer Benefiting Make-A-Wish
Monday, December 11, 2017
More than 100 business professionals gathered during the Greater Irvine Chamber Emerging Business Leaders’ evening holiday mixer at Twenty Eight Restaurant and Loungeon Dec. 6.
Members and guests of the Chamber and event co-presenter Orange County Association of Realtors(OCAR) Young Professionals Network donated more than 150 new, unwrapped games and toys to Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
“Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire is extremely grateful for the support of community groups like the Greater Irvine Chamber. Community partnerships such as this allow our organization to grant more wishes to children battling critical illnesses,” said Dr. Massiel Pérez-Calhoon, board member for Make-A-Wish OC/IE.
Under twinkling lights of the holiday season, representatives from OCAR and event sponsor Concordia University, Irvine also addressed the packed room with motivational messages.
The mission of the Emerging Business Leaders is to educate and develop young individuals to become strong corporate, civic, and non-profit business leaders through promoting purposeful relationships within the Irvine community.
