The City of Irvine is in the process of updating its General Plan, the city's long range planning blueprint. You are encouraged to join this update effort, called Irvine 2035 – Our Future, by taking Survey #2.

Phase 1 of the Comprehensive General Plan Update (the “Update”) commenced in 2015 and included extensive public outreach to identify community issues and priorities.  Many responded to the first survey circulated during this initial outreach. Phase 2 of the Update is now underway, to develop a Planning Framework based on the input received during Phase 1. The City of Irvine has released a follow-up survey (Survey #2) which builds on the results of the Phase 1 survey by focusing on a draft Vision Statement, guiding principles and goals/topical areas for the Update.
