Greater Irvine Chamber’s Jessica Welch Honored among Women to Watch in 2018 by California Women’s Leadership Association

Jessica Welch is among a select group of women who have been named Women to Watch in 2018 by California Women’s Leadership Association (CWLA) for their contributions in the world of business, non-profit, and politics.

Nominated by her peers in the business community, Welch was formally recognized during an Oct. 26 luncheon in Costa Mesa, as a Community Hero for her role in leadership at the Greater Irvine Chamber, where she serves as Senior Director of Operations.

Also recognized were Laura Archuleta of Jamboree Housing Corporation, Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Laurie Edwards-Tate of At Your Home Familycare; Kendal Mosley of Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Councilmember Kris Murray, Cynthia Quimby of Quimby Group Consulting, and San Diego County Chief Deputy District Attorney Summer Stephan.

“It is an honor to be mentioned among such worthy individuals, by a prestigious organization such as CWLA,” Welch said. “Serving the business community alongside these women in my capacity with the Greater Irvine Chamber is a true pleasure and I’m thankful for the relationships it’s provided me along the way.”

Welch is actively engaged in Leadership Tomorrow and serves on the Western Association of Chamber Executives Emerging Leaders Advisory Council. Under her leadership at the Greater Irvine Chamber over the past 10 years, several programs have achieved heightened success including the Business Outlook and Women of Influence conferences.
