City of Irvine, Greater Irvine Chamber, University of LaVerne Partner to Recognize Business Excellence at This Week’s Celebrate Irvine

This week the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Irvine and LaVerne University, Irvine, present Celebrate Irvine, the Chamber’s annual luncheon recognizing outstanding achievements in the business community.

On Thursday, June 22, at the Irvine Marriott from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., businesses and individuals in Irvine will be recognized for community service, volunteerism, and the best traditions of good corporate citizenship in the categories of Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, Business Philanthropist of the Year.

Presenting the 2017 awards on behalf of the Chamber are representatives from the 2016 recipient companies: Cox Communications (Business of the Year), Wells Fargo (Philanthropist of the Year), and UC Irvine (Nonprofit of the Year). Nearly 400 guests are expected to attend.

Irvine Mayor Donald P. Wagner will provide an update of the city, and Greater Irvine Chamber President & CEO Bryan Starr will provide an update on the Chambers accomplishments.

There are limited seats available. Register today! General admission is $55 for Chamber members, and $65 for visitors. Chamber members can purchase special tickets that include a VIP reception for $75. Guests can purchase the VIP package for $85. The “Taste of Irvine” VIP reception begins at 11 a.m., offering VIP guests an opportunity to shake hands with local elected officials and sample foods from Orange County’s finest restaurants. Admission includes the program, lunch, and parking.
