Monday, June 12, 2017
Last week, Destination Irvine along with Hotel Irvine attended U.S. Travel Association’s IPW in Washington, D.C. Representatives met with more than 25 international and domestic buyers, including leisure and corporate focused group tour operators, along with more than a two dozen media outlets from across the world who expressed interest in visiting Irvine. In addition, Destination Irvine hosted a private reception for nearly two dozen buyers and media representatives; Hotel Irvine and the Irvine Retail Company provided prizes for four lucky attendees.
IPW 2018 will be held in Denver and in 2019 the tradeshow will be in Anaheim.
IPW is the travel industry's premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the U.S. More than 1,000 U.S. travel organizations from every region of the USA and more than 1,300 international and domestic buyers from more than 70 countries conduct business negotiations that result in the generation of more than $4.7 billion in future Visit USA travel.
