At a recent Legislative Breakfast in San Clemente put on by the Association of California Cities – Orange County, Congressman Darrell Issa and Congresswoman Mimi Walters provided updates from Washington D.C.
Representing the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce and its member businesses, the Chamber’s director of Government Affairs, Whit Peterson, and 30 other representatives from Orange County business organizations were there to learn details about the latest activity surrounding the proposed American Healthcare Act (AHCA), autonomous vehicles, sober living homes, and tax reform.
“One of the things we’re looking forward to is action on the proposed infrastructure spending package,” Peterson noted. “Orange County is the economic engine for Southern California so ensuring our roads, highways, rail, and ports are up to date is vitally important to our region.”
