Irvine was recently ranked the seventh best place for Hispanic entrepreneurs by the personal finance website WalletHub. The ranking was determined by an analysis of 21 key indicators of business friendliness toward Hispanic entrepreneurs, compared among the 150 largest U.S. cities, including four Texas and two Florida cities topping the list.
Hispanic and Latino community’s contributions to the U.S. economy are expected to grow rapidly in the coming decades.
WalletHub cites one report that indicates this demographic is expected to make up a third of the U.S. population by 2050, translating into immense buying power, and is anticipated to create businesses at 15 times the national rate.
WalletHub in 2017 also ranked Irvine the third Happiest Place to Live.
