City of Hope OC’s Physician-in-Chief, Dr. Edward Kim is Guest Speaker at Greater Irvine Chamber’s May 5 Government Affairs Meeting

Edward S. Kim, M.D., M.B.A., physician-in-chief at City of Hope Orange County and vice physician-in-chief at City of Hope National Medical Center, will be the guest speaker at the Greater Irvine Chamber’s Government Affairs meeting on May 5, 8 a.m.

Dr. Kim will provide an update on City of Hope’s soon-to-open Lennar Foundation Cancer Center at City of Hope Orange County, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center at FivePoint Gateway in Irvine. He will also speak about City of Hope’s Orange County network of care and plans to open the county’s only cancer specialty hospital in 2025. 

Lennar Foundation Cancer Center at City of Hope Orange County will be the most advanced cancer treatment and research center in Orange County, providing access to more than 400 physicians and 1,000 researchers and scientists solely focused on ending cancer. In addition to providing Orange County with first-of-its-kind cancer care expertise and pioneering cancer research, City of Hope is bringing important tech and medical jobs to Irvine and Orange County.

A U.S. News & World Report "Top Doctor" and clinician world-renowned for his immense oncology experience, Dr. Kim is driving innovation in cancer care and delivery, developing paradigms for translating research into clinical practice and introducing new therapies for City of Hope’s Orange County clinical network and planned Irvine campus.
