FivePoint President & COO Lynn Jochim to be Featured at the Greater Irvine Chamber 2022 Women of Influence Event
Tuesday, October 26, 2021
The Greater Irvine Chamber Women of Influence event slated for March 2022 will feature an interview-style discussion with Lynn Jochim, president and COO of FivePoint. Nada Lena Nasserdeen, MA, founder and CEO of Rise Up For You and TEDx speaker, will moderate the conversation.
Lynn Jochim is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of fully integrated, multi-generational communities at FivePoint Holdings, LLC, a leader and collaborator in creating cities of the future within California.
FivePoint’s inclusive and mixed-use communities include Great Park Neighborhoods in Irvine, FivePoint Valencia (formerly Newhall Ranch) in Los Angeles County, and FivePoint Candlestick / The San Francisco Shipyard in San Francisco. Together, these mixed-use communities will include approximately 40,000 residential homes and 23 million square feet of commercial space while generating approximately 288,000 jobs during construction and $54 billion in activity for the California economy.
Through her role, Ms. Jochim is implementing solutions to some of California’s biggest challenges — job creation, climate change, the environment, mobility, and the lack of affordable housing and housing inventory. Through her leadership, FivePoint communities provide equal access and opportunities by seamlessly integrating the most important aspects of people’s lives — homes, schools, offices, retail, integrative health and wellness, arts and entertainment, sports facilities, parks and nature, and open space.
Previously, Ms. Jochim served as regional vice president of Lennar Homes in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining Lennar, she worked for Ernst & Young San Francisco Real Estate Consulting. In the early 1990s, she founded and was president of a minority and woman-owned business that contracted with the Resolution Trust Corporation and successfully managed and disposed of an extensive portfolio of commercial and hotel assets and loans.
Ms. Jochim currently serves on the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate Executive Committee. She has also served on the Oakland Children’s Hospital board of directors and was president and a board member of the Building Industry Association (BIA) in northern California. Additionally, she founded the BIA Women’s Education Council.
Ms. Jochim has received numerous honors, including being named as one of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business by the San Francisco Business Times, a Women in Business Award by the Orange County Business Journal, and the International Women’s Day Award by the Greater Irvine Chamber for her contributions to her industry and community.
