Carlos Oregon of Thinkbox Technology Group Appointed as Greater Irvine Chamber Board Chair

Carlos Oregon of Thinkbox Technology Group has been appointed Chair of the Greater Irvine Chamber Board of Directors. He joined the Chamber’s Board in 2016 as member at large and was appointed to the executive committee in 2019.

As CEO of Thinkbox Technology Group, Oregon led the organization’s expansion to a global market. His wide-ranging international experience includes foreign direct investment, business development, operations, consulting, program/project management, C-level support, and corporate social responsibility. He directs client support teams in California, Washington, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, and Europe, supporting enterprise-wide initiatives for HQ expansions, data center buildouts and migrations, VOIP upgrades, next-gen infrastructure deployments, and business IT project recovery. 

Before joining Thinkbox Technology Group, Oregon was a senior member of the engineering team at WET Design, where he provided oversight for the project management and coordination of technology and production for iconic water features, including the world’s largest water feature located at the Burj, Dubai development in UAE. Oregon was a distinguished member of the U.S. Air Force, where he served 16 years supporting Global Operations for U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command, Pacific Forces Command, Special Operations Command, Space Command, and Air Combat Command. He remains a part of the Air force reserves.

In addition to the Greater Irvine Chamber, Oregon serves on Boards of Directors for the Orange County Business Workforce Development Board representing 3rd District Supervisor Don Wagner, and the Irvine Forward Foundation. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce, Netherlands.
