California’s Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program

Governor Newsom signed into law a comprehensive package providing urgent relief for the small businesses of California. There is $2 billion of grants available for distribution up to $25,000. This final round of the California Relief Grant begins Wednesday, April 28 through Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
The application process is not first come, first served. Based on annual gross revenues for 2019 tax year, eligible business can receive the following:
- Revenues $1,000 to $100,000 = $5,000 grant
- Revenues $100,000 up to $1,000,000 = $15,000 grant
- Revenues Greater than $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 = $25,000 grant

- I was waitlisted in Rounds 1, 2, 3 or 5. Do I need to submit a new application in Round 6?
NO. Waitlisted applicants will automatically rolled into Round 6. Do not reapply. Reapplying may flag your application as fraud.
