Face Coverings Required for Public Workers
Thursday, April 23, 2020
(OC Business Journal) The Orange County Board of Supervisors said on April 21 that cloth face coverings will be mandatory for all workers in contact with the public.
The directive, passed at a special meeting, is effective Friday, April 24.
The rule applies to grocery and convenience stores, pharmacies, gas stations, restaurants, food prep outlets, and retailers.
Vice Chairman and First District Supervisor Andrew Do proposed the rule earlier this month as face coverings were recommended by OC health officials.
