HBLA’s Dov Lazarus, City of Hope’s Nisha Morris Elected to Greater Irvine Chamber Board of Directors

Dov Lazarus, CPA, audit partner at HBLA Certified Public Accountants, Inc., and Nisha Morris, associate vice president, Marketing and Communications at City of Hope Orange County, have been elected to serve on the 2020-2021 Greater Irvine Chamber Board of Directors.

Lazarus has more than twenty years of accounting and auditing experience, with significant experience serving companies in a variety of industries including importing, manufacturing, distribution, automotive and retail. He has serviced some of the firm’s more significant clients. He previously worked at Price Waterhouse South Africa and Price Waterhouse Australia.

Lazarus is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

“Two members of our firm have previously served on the Board and found it a rewarding experience. I think it’s a great way to serve the community and at the same time to broaden my network of executives committed to working together on common goals,” Lazarus said.

Morris is the associate vice president, marketing and communications, City of Hope Orange County. She leads marketing and communications, including building awareness and expanding the reputation of City of Hope in Orange County. Morris holds a dual master’s degree in marketing and healthcare management. This year, she received a PR News’ top Women in PR award. Morris teaches crisis communications and media relations at California Baptist University. She is also a board member for Child Guidance Center, a Santa Ana nonprofit whose mission is to empower children and families to reach their potential through innovative mental health services. She helps guide and support the agency’s strategic communications and public relations needs.

The people of the Chamber have been outstanding partners as they share our vision of a healthier Irvine and Orange County,” Morris said. “I am honored to be a new member of the Chamber board, building a diverse network of people, and working together for a stronger community."

The Greater Irvine Chamber’s Board is comprised of 30 diverse Orange County executives.
