Octane’s Nicole Washington to Serve as 2020 Women of Influence Master of Ceremonies

Nicole Washington, senior advisor of community engagement, Octane, will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Greater Irvine Chamber’s seventh annual Women of Influenceevent, set for Friday,March 6, 2020, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at Hotel Irvine, 17900 Jamboree Rd.
In her current role, Washington focuses on engaging with strategic partners to increase access for women and underrepresented groups to the Southern California entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
She is the founder and owner of Micro Biz Coach®, a firm that focuses on educating the micro- and small- business owner to leverage various aspects of internet technology in their business operations in order to maximize efficiency and to effectively compete with larger businesses. Its clients have been featured on CNBC, Fox Business News, TheStreet.com, and a host of Clear Channel radio stations.
Washington is also the founder of Nicole’s Naturals® Inc., a gluten-free food manufacturing company specializing in the development of gluten-free grain products with the texture and taste of traditional gluten products.
She is a member of the Angel Capital Association and the Ohio TechAngel Fund, the second-largest angel investor network in the United States, where she served as the due diligence team technology lead for several years. Washington currently serves on several boards including that of the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute and the Samueli Academy Board of Education.
Each year the Women of Influence program draws hundreds of attendees and features keynotes delivered by prominent professional women who share details of their journeys as they find their way through challenges and discovery to achieve success.
