Hotel Irvine Completes Multi-Million Dollar Reinvestment Program

Hotel Irvine – a 536-room lifestyle hotel conveniently located in the heart of Orange County – has recently completed a comprehensive $6.8 million reinvestment program, emerging with a fresh contemporary look and punches of color that span the entire property from accommodations to meeting areas to dining spots.

According to Jeroen Quint, general manager, Hotel Irvine, the project entailed a number of design aesthetic updates, including the installation of bold new fabrics, patterned pillows, and comfy seating throughout public areas such as EATS Kitchen & Bar and Red Bar and Lounge as well as the lobby entrance.

“This most recent reinvestment project, along with the $32 million we injected in 2015, represents another crucial milestone for Hotel Irvine as we continue the evolution of our lifestyle branding while delivering on our promise to provide the utmost in contemporary travel experiences while investing heavily into our properties,” Quint said.

Highlights of this most recent refresh include:

Lobby entrance: Done in hues of orange and soft yellow, the lobby entrance has contemporary new furnishings, including round tables, colorful pillows, orange tweed fabric chairs, and a refabricated curvilinear sofa, as well as new elevators.

Red Bar and Lounge and EATS Kitchen & Bar: A hotel hub, Red Bar and Lounge is outfitted with new comfortable chairs, colorful tables, pillows, and geometric patterned carpeting. EATS Kitchen & Bar has new handsome chairs – inside and out, along with a new windbreak and plush new fire pit seating with space heaters.

Pool area: The pool area is equipped with new cabanas, umbrellas, and chaise lounges.

Guest rooms: All 536 guestrooms have been upgraded to include new lighting, new bedding, plush pillow-top mattresses, a soundbar, an enhanced phone system, and a 55” flat screen Samsung TV.

Corridors: Halls leading to guest rooms are now appointed with vibrant abstract art and rectangular mid-century modern light sconces, accentuated by fresh new bright, stripe patterned carpeting at elevators.

Banquet areas: The ballroom entrance has new chairs as well as reupholstered furnishings and new banquet equipment including buffet tables, silver, nesting tables, kitchen equipment, and linens.

Theatre foyer: This area, which fronts the hotel’s state-of-the-art theatre, houses new furnishings, edgy oversized artworks, and new patio furniture.

Behind the scenes: A series of technology and refinishing upgrades and kitchen and heart-of-house equipment updates have been implemented to ensure operations remain seamless. Additionally, a new website was recently launched to include new ChatBot technology allowing for 24/7 communication for a smoother booking process; an updated meetings page with a new user-friendly RFP form; and a new interactive map allowing users to explore nearby activities and attractions and easily obtain directions.
