Linda DiMario Provides Business Leaders, Educators with Insights on 2020 OC Disruptors

LindaDiMario, executive vice president, Greater Irvine Chamber, this month presented a keynote address to a room full of business leaders and educators during the Orange County and Vision 2020 Power Breakfast for Business and Entrepreneurship.
DiMario discussed opportunities, challenges, gaps, and disruptors facing Orange County.
“The alignment between business and education is essential to building a sustainable and effective workforce – particularly with the rate of change and innovation occurring at such a rapid pace. Working together, we can better take advantage of tomorrow’s innovations and the new jobs and skills they will require,” said DiMario.
The event was presented in part by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office Business and Entrepreneurship Sector and EXP as part of an ongoing professional development opportunity for regional college, university, K-12 faculty, employers, students, and key stakeholders in preparing students and employees for the 21st-century economy.
