Lifestyle SoCal destination Hotel Irvine once again promises family and friends plenty of holiday cheer, tantalizing dining and party-making during this season of celebrations and good will to all. The outdoors Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts in the expansive gaily decorated The Backyard are favorite holiday must-go-to events for bounteous selections of favorite foods and drinks, live music and all kinds of family entertainment activities. Also EATS Kitchen & Bar is creating a selection of special dishes for dining on Thanksgiving and Christmas. At Red Bar and Lounge, guests can shake up a good time with Holiday Mixology Classes, and party into the wee hours of 2020 at the Uncorked New Year’s Eve bash. The hotel’s popular grab-and-go stop, Marketplace, will be stocked with holiday special beverages and eats.

Thanksgiving Dinner Specials at EATS Kitchen & Bar
Thursday, November 28, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Guests will certainly want to give thanks to a very good time and really good EATS this Thanksgiving. At EATS Kitchen & Bar, they will be serving delish traditional specials including a Cornucopia Salad with shaved apples, candied walnuts, feta cheese and apple cider gastrique; a Main Course of Oven Roasted Turkey or Honey Glazed Ham with tasty sides such as mashed potatoes, sage stuffing, Brussels sprouts and cranberry sauce; and for dessert, Bruléed Pumpkin Tart.

Thanksgiving Feast in The Backyard

Thursday, November 28, seatings at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Backyard Thanksgiving Feast at Hotel Irvine is a culinary tribute to the bounty of the season featuring food stations offering AM favorites like Spinach & Goat Cheese Quiche. For seafood lovers, there will be Poached Shrimp, Smoked Salmon and Ahi Poke. Also offering a selection of Salads such as Salt-Roasted Beets with lingonberry vinaigrette and Apple-Celery Salad with cranberries and walnuts. Fairytale Pumpkin Bisque is sure to be a favorite along with Roasted Free-Range Turkey and Beef Short Ribs Bourguignon. Sweets include Apple Cranberry Cobbler, Pumpkin and Pecan Pie, Chocolate Magma Cakes and other holiday treats. The kids will love their special buffet. Festivities highlighted by fun for all – live music played by a solo guitarist, a face painting station, a photo booth to capture the memories, giant lawn games and more surprises. $79 per adult, $37 per child ages five to 12. Christmas Brunch in The Backyard

Brunch is coming to town in a big way on Christmas Day in The Backyard. The whole family will want photos with Santa, enjoy live music, play lawn games and want to save the excitement with photo booth pics. The spectacular holiday fare features breakfast and brunch choices for everyone from Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and French Toast to Bouillabaisse Halibut to Garlic Salt-Crusted Prime Rib of Beef. There will be salads like Roasted Butternut Squash with mustard dressing, Artisanal Cheeses and Antipasto and all kinds of traditional sides. Favorite Sweets will tempt with a Christmas Yule Log, German Chocolate Cake, Austrian Apple Strudel and more. There’s a Kids Buffet too. And, there are bottomless mimosas with an array of toppings and garnishes. $79 per adult, $37 per child ages five to 12. Pricing excludes tax and gratuity. Advance purchase recommended.

New Year’s Eve Party at Red Bar and Lounge
Tuesday, December 31, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
New Year’s Uncorked at Red Bar and Lounge means ringing in 2020 with a lavish New Year's Eve party complete with champagne, cocktails, party favors and beats by Red Bar’s local DJ. Groups of friends will want to reserve a booth with bottle service so they can raise toast after toast to those they love the most. $10 cover charge. Advance ticket purchase available on Eventbrite. Holiday Mixology Classes

Friday, December 6, and Friday, December 20, from 8 to 10 p.m.

They’ll be shaking up a good time at Red Bar and Lounge this season. On select Fridays in December, guests are invited to shake, mix and muddle customized holiday cocktails during interactive mixology classes. Cheers! $60 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Advanced reservations required on Eventbrite. Class limited to 12 guests.

 

Marketplace Seasonal Offerings
'Tis the season to enjoy seasonal drinks. Marketplace at Hotel Irvine wants to add to the joy of the winter season with festive favorites for purchase including Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brûlée Latte, Hot Chocolate, Chestnut Praline Latte and more. Offered from November 15, 2019, through January 15, 2020.

Daily from November 23 to December 25, a Holiday Candy Station at Marketplace will invite guests to purchase already filled bags of holiday candy or fill up their own candy bag from a selection of holiday treats. $4 each.
