Forty OC Professionals Recognized during Greater Irvine Chamber’s Inaugural 40 Under 40 Event

Forty of Orange County’s most talented professionals under the age of 40 were formally recognized during the Greater Irvine Chamber’s inaugural 40 Under 40 reception in front of a sold-out crowd of nearly 500 attendees at the Marriot Irvine Spectrum on Oct. 3.

“To have 40 of Orange County’s most accomplished young professionals together in the same room for the Chamber’s 40 Under 40 event was an honor and a promise of continued innovation for our region,” said Bryan Starr, president and CEO, Greater Irvine Chamber. “I congratulate them all for what they have achieved, the example they set, and I look forward to their future contributions.”

The honorees were selected by a special committee, from a pool of more than 270 nominees, for their demonstrated leadership skills, integrity, and initiative, advancing their industries and the Orange County community.

Ten-year-old Ryan Hickman of Ryan’s Recycling, was presented the 2019 Future Leader Award by Jay Ware of Ware Disposal, the event’s Future Leader Sponsor.

Steve Churm, executive vice president, Public Affairs, FivePoint, and Charles Antis, CEO and founder of Presenting Sponsor Antis Roofing and Waterproofing, served as program hosts.
