Lynn Stewart Named Greater Irvine Chamber August 2019 Member of the Month

Lynn Stewart, director of business development, extension and international programs, California State University, Fullerton, has been named the August 2019 Greater Irvine Chamber Member of the Month.
Stewart has been involved in the Chamber’s Economic Vitality Council since joining the Chamber in 2015. As a member of the International Development Committee, Stewart leads both the Foreign Direct Investment Task Force and the Irvine Ready! Task Force. She is also a member of the Cybersecurity Task Force as part of the Business and Workforce Development Committee.
A regular attendee of the Chamber’s annual Orange County World Trade Week Breakfast and Forum, Stewart was formally recognized as the Partner of the Year during this year’s program.
“I have found great value in networking and working on task force projects with the amazing Chamber members and staff,” Stewart said. “We’ve been able to accomplish a great deal together.”
Stewart has more than 25 years of international trade experience as well as several years in economic and workforce development that includes nearly two decades as a community college instructor. In her current role, she leads the development of professional and continuing education programs that meet the needs of employers, the business community, and students. Additionally, she has spent much of her career working with businesses of all industries as a trade consultant and business advisor.
