Irvine Named Best City to Live In for 4th Consecutive Year

The City of Irvine has been voted Best City to Live In for the fourth consecutive year by Orange County Register readers.
“As Mayor, I am often asked what makes Irvine special,” said IrvineMayorChristina Shea. Orange County Register readers confirmed what we already know; Irvine is the best city to live in. Our public safety, our schools, our parks and trails, our exciting and diverse dining, shopping, and sports facilities all provide an unmatched quality of life.”
“The City of Irvine takes pride in its partnerships and together we have built this community where excellence thrives. I am so grateful for neighbors throughout Irvine who work together in PTA’s, houses of worship, and other community groups together creating the best city to live in,” said Mayor Pro Tem Anthony Kuo after he accepted the honor at Orange County Register’s awards gala.
Irvine will be featured in the Register’s 26th annual Best of Orange County publication, an insider’s guide to residents’ favorite places and experiences. The Register collected thousands of votes in nearly 70 categories this year. Categories ranged from the best places to eat and shop, to best dog park; Irvine’s Central Bark Dog Park took second place.
