The Greater Irvine Chamber received two Videographer Awards of Distinction, by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), for the videos “The Irvine Difference” and “Celebrating 40 Years, Advancing the Economic Vitality of Irvine.

“We are proud to showcase Irvine as a great place to live, work, and play through digital storytelling,” said Bryan Starr, president and CEO, Greater Irvine Chamber. “It is an honor to be recognized for the production of our videos.”

Each year the Greater Irvine Chamber and its destination sales and marketing division, Destination Irvine, produce a catalog of video content highlighting the unparalleled assets of Irvine, which are a result of the visionary Irvine Master Plan established more than a half-century ago.

AMCP videographer awards are among the most coveted awards in the video industry. Since 1994, the awards identify and recognize top videography production. More than 1,500 entries from throughout the United States and dozens of other countries were submitted in the 2019 competition. Recipients range from network news to companies and freelancers. Awards of Distinction are awarded to those projects that exceed industry standards. Approximately 14 percent of the entries won this award.
