Greater Irvine Chamber’s Laura Perdew Promoted to Senior Director of Communications

Laura Perdew has been promoted to Senior Director of Communications for the Greater Irvine Chamber.

“Laura is a key team member that contributes greatly to the execution of our mission,” said Bryan Starr, president and CEO, Greater Irvine Chamber. “A hardworking and enthusiastic communications professional, Laura supports and assists the Chamber’s professional staff daily in accomplishing their goals.”

Upon joining the Chamber staff in 2016 as Director of Communications, Perdew conducted a communications audit, overhauling organizational communications, marketing practices, and procedures to align with the Chamber brand and mission, as well as leading a rebrand of the organization. She oversees strategic internal and external communications, branding, and marketing.

Perdew serves on the International Association of Business Communicators, Orange County Chapter’s communications committee, and graduate in July from the four-year West Institute for Organizational Management (IOM) program, which educates association professionals nationwide.

Perdew earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with an emphasis in public relations, and a bachelor’s degree in theater from California State University, Fullerton.
