City of Hope Orange County is the Presenting Sponsor for the Greater Irvine Chamber’s 2019 Celebrate Irvine event to be held Friday, June 28, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at Hotel Irvine, 17900 Jamboree Rd.

“As we build our world-class health campus in Irvine, City of Hope Orange County is thrilled to participate in Celebrate Irvine. This is truly a wonderful place to live, work, and be healthy, which is why we’re working hard to speed the latest discoveries to those who need them most, right here in the center of beautiful Orange County,” said Annette M. Walker, president, City of Hope Orange County.

Both nominations and self-nominations are accepted and can be submitted through June 7. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Chamber’s Business Awards page.

The Greater Irvine Chamber’s annual business awards will be formally presented during the event in five categories: Business of the Year, Nonprofit of the Year, Business Philanthropist of the Year, Emerging Business Leader of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year. Through this award program, the Chamber recognizes businesses and individuals in Irvine that have demonstrated the principles of community service, volunteerism, and the best traditions of good corporate citizenship.

City of Hope is an independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. Designated as one of only 49 comprehensive cancer centers, the highest recognition bestowed by the National Cancer Institute, City of Hope is also a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, with research and treatment protocols that advance care throughout the world.

Tickets for the 2019 Celebrate Irvine event are $55 for Greater Irvine Chamber members, and $75 for guests. Sponsorships and tables are available for purchase.
