In one of the most ambitious initiatives in its 106-year history, City of Hope is expanding its world-class cancer care network to Orange County, beginning with the purchase of a 12,500-square-foot facility in Newport Beach. The new 1601 Avocado Ave. facility is the official start to City of Hope extending its personalized, compassionate, and technologically-advanced care to the county.

The Newport Beach site is projected to open in late 2019 and will house lifesaving medical services, such as breast and other medical oncology, and convenient access to subspecialists. This expansion will be the first spoke of the main health campus planned to open in 2022 at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine, and is one more step in City of Hope’s plan to “move in on cancer” and collaborate with other Orange County cancer champions to improve the health and well-being of Orange County residents.

City of Hope is a platinum-level Leaders Circle sponsor of the Greater Irvine Chamber.
