Former FBI Special Agent Gina Osborn to Deliver 2019 Women of Influence Keynote

Gina Osborn, a former FBI Special Agent and current president of G-Girl Productions, will deliver a keynote address to more than 500 expected attendees at the Greater Irvine Chamber’s sixth annual Women of Influence luncheon on Friday, March 8.

Osborn is a screenwriter for G-Girl Productions, her entertainment production and content development company. Much of her work is inspired by her 28-year career in law enforcement.

She began her career in 1986 by enlisting in the U.S. Army as a Counterintelligence Special Agent where she served six years during the Cold War working the highest profile espionage cases in the European Theater.  

In 1996, Osborn became a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She had numerous assignments over 22 years, which included investigating Asian Organized Crime on a task force in the Little Saigon District of Orange County, and supervising counterterrorism investigations in Southeast Asia

Osborn retired from her law enforcement career as the assistant special agent in charge of the Cyber and Computer Forensics Programs in Los Angeles. For 11 years, she led investigations relating to national security and criminal computer intrusions and provided foundational leadership in the creation of the Orange County Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.   

Osborn serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Orange County and is a proud member of the American Legion.

The 2019 Women of Influence event is set for Friday,March 8, 11:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m., at the Irvine Marriott, 18000 Von Karman Ave.

Attendees will also hear from opening speaker Marisa Wayne, fitness entrepreneur and co-founder of boutique fitness studio GritCycle. When creating GritCycle, Wayne drew inspiration from her father, legendary actor John Wayne, who was beloved for his role in the 1969 movie True Grit. Marisa Wayne is also a founding member of the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.

Returning to Women of Influence for a third time is Kim Shepherd, a highly sought-after speaker, author, and former CEO of Decision Toolbox. Serving as master of ceremonies, Shepherd will keep the program rolling as she ushers in the dynamic lineup of speakers.

For the second consecutive year, Pacific Western Bank is returning as title sponsor for the event.

Each year, the Greater Irvine Chamber’s Women of Influence program draws hundreds of attendees and features keynotes delivered by prominent professional women who share details of their journeys as they find their way through challenges and discovery to achieve success.

Tickets for the 2019 Women of Influence luncheon are $90 for Greater Irvine Chamber members, and $115 for guests. Sponsorships and tables are available for purchase.
