City of Hope Orange County is the Presenting Sponsor for the Greater Irvine Chamber 2021 Women of Influence Virtual Event

City of Hope Orange County is the presenting sponsor for Greater Irvine Chamber 2021 Women of Influence event to be live-streamed Wednesday, March 24 at noon.

“The 2021 Women of Influence awardees are special because they show us the power and creativity of determined women, especially in challenging times. Today, we face a world we could not have imagined just one year ago. Let’s take inspiration from these honorees, empowering one another to build a better future for us all,” said Annette M. Walker, president, City of Hope Orange County.

City of Hope launched a Newport Beach location in January as the initial phase of its broad-scale investment to develop and operate a first-of-its-kind regional cancer care network featuring a world-class cancer center of the future in Irvine. The planned 11-acre Irvine campus will house a comprehensive clinical hub for highly specialized cancer care, world-class specialists, phase 1-3 clinical trials, precision medicine, and early detection and prevention programs, along with Orange County’s first hospital dedicated exclusively to treating and curing cancer. 

City of Hope Orange County is the diamond-level Leaders Circle partner of the Greater Irvine Chamber.

Live-streamed at noon on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 Women of Influence, will feature a keynote presentation by popular speaker and principal of Link ConsultingMarsha Link, Ph.D.

A special awards segment of the program will recognize outstanding women who have made an impact on their industries and the business community in Orange County, in these categories:

  • Entrepreneur
  • Innovator
  • Executive
  • Advocate
  • Authentic Leader
  • Game Changer
  • Rising Star

Additionally, in honor of International Women’s Day, a Lifetime Achievement Award will honor a woman whose history, contributions, and achievements have had a profound impact, inspiring the next generation of women leaders.

Eligible nominees must lead, serve, or work for an active business or nonprofit located or operating in Orange County or attend a high school, college, or university in Orange County. 

The nomination period is open through Feb. 22, 5:00 p.m. Nominations and self-nominations are encouraged.
