Destination Irvine Earns Global Hospitality Award: Irvine, USA’s Best Emerging Leisure & Recreation Travel Destination
Tuesday, February 02, 2021
“To be globally recognized with this award, during a truly challenging year, is quite an honor,” said Wendy Haase, vice president, Destination Irvine. “Irvine being recognized as the best U.S. destination for leisure and recreation will further our marketing efforts that highlight the city’s safe and responsible COVID-19 recovery.”
LUXlife Magazine, one of AI Global Media’s most popular standalone publications, recognized that many firms whose work is vital to the industry were not being sufficiently rewarded. To rectify this, they created the Hospitality Awards which are designed to recognize and reward the firms and the individuals behind them that have worked tirelessly during 2020 to achieve industry-leading success, client satisfaction, and market growth.
The Hospitality Awards are committed to recognizing individuals throughout the hospitality space, and therefore they do not consider either geography or size. From hospitality management to public relations, tour operators, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, marketing services, events, and recruitment, every area of the industry was recognized in 2020.
Honorees were selected by an international, collective of individuals, with backgrounds from myriad fields, such as business, economy, politics, media, journalism, history, and education. The panel was led by a veteran academic leader with international pedagogic and coaching experience who is well versed in research, fact-checking, and mediation, allowing the panel to operate with efficacy and dependability.
