Executive Coach Marsha Link, Ph.D., to Give Women of Influence Keynote on Emotional Intelligence & Self-Care in the Modern Workplace

Popular speaker and principal of Link Consulting Marsha Link, Ph.D., will provide the keynote presentation on emotional intelligence and self-care in the modern workplace, titled Time to Thrive, for the Greater Irvine Chamber 2021 Women of Influence virtual event on Wednesday, March 24 at 12:00 p.m.
Dr. Link is an experienced clinician and consultant who has worked with individuals and groups in a variety of settings in business, education, and nonprofit organizations. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about advancing women in their respective roles and chosen directions.
As an executive coach, Dr. Link has helped many women identify and achieve their professional and personal goals, with the philosophy of helping women find the power in themselves to intentionally live the life that brings happiness and success in the ways they individually define. As a consultant, she provides customized programs in the areas of leadership, diversity, team building, and board development.
Dr. Link served as a psychiatric social worker at Indiana University Medical Center and has worked as a psychotherapist in hospital and out-patient settings. She was co-founder of Chiron Vision, an ophthalmology medical device company, and was a master trainer for Development Dimensions International, a global leadership consulting firm helping organizations hire, promote, and develop exceptional leaders. She has served as adjunct faculty at University of California and Webster University, both in Irvine.
Dr. Link holds a doctorate and Master of Arts degrees in psychology from the Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, and a Master of Science in counseling and personnel services from Purdue University. She earned a certificate in human resource management from the University of California, Irvine, and a bachelor’s in music education from Manchester University in Indiana. She is a past-president of Ophthalmic Women Leaders, a national organization dedicated to developing diverse leadership across the ophthalmology space, and received the organization’s Visionary Leader Award in 2016.
Live-streamed at noon on Wednesday, March 24, the Greater Irvine Chamber’s 2021 Women of Influence virtual event, will include a special awards segment to recognize outstanding women in seven categories—Entrepreneur, Innovator, Executive, Advocate, Authentic Leader, Game Changer, and Rising Star—who have made an impact on their industries and the business community in Orange County. Additionally, in honor of International Women’s Day, a Lifetime Achievement Award will honor a woman whose history, contributions, and achievements have had a profound impact, inspiring the next generation of women leaders.
Eligible nominees must lead, serve, or work for an active business or nonprofit located or operating in Orange County or attend a high school, college, or university in Orange County.
The nomination period is open through February 22, 5:00 p.m. Nominations and self-nominations are encouraged.
