The Greater Irvine Chamber in partnership with the California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) on July 14 hosted a small roundtable of manufacturing CEO’s to hear their needs and see how the Chamber may assist. Monthly meetings put on by CMTC are where local manufacturing CEO’s can come together to share their experiences, challenges, and gain insight from their peers.

Greater Irvine Chamber Manager of Business and International Development Diana Le shared local resources with the CEO’s and provided an update on what the Chamber is doing in workforce development such as its CareerEdge program aimed at closing the small skills gap.

“Opportunities to bring together business executives is good for companies and industry clusters. It provides business leaders with the opportunity to share best practices and details of the challenges they face, with the goal of finding solutions to commonly held issues,” said Le. “The Chamber is able to provide opportunities for these types of high-level, laser-focused meetings to take place, which benefits the entire business community.”
