The City of Irvine is launching a study to define community transportation needs and determine additional transit needs (beyond the existing iShuttle and bus routes located within the City). The Irvine Transit Vision Study will evaluate new and improved transportation options to support residents getting around within the city. The study will develop transit service recommendations based on current travel patterns, parking conditions, existing transit services, and other factors. The study aims to increase access to local businesses, relieve parking and traffic congestion, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
We have prepared some initial service concepts and welcome your feedback. The presentation of concepts can be found HERE. Once you have viewed the concepts, please provide your feedback HERE. These concepts have been developed based on current travel patterns, parking conditions, existing transit services, and other technical factors and will be refined based upon your feedback.
Provide Feedback on Irvine's Transit Vision
The City of Irvine will hold a community meeting June 13, at 6 p.m., to discuss transportation options and present the findings from initial concept studies that sought to improve parking conditions and transit services, relieve parking and traffic congestion, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The meeting will be held via Zoom. Click here to attend.
