With $2.3 million in closed sales, Christopher Wade has earned the Greater Irvine Chamber’s title of Rainmaker for the second quarter in 2018.

Wade, strategic development manager for eMerchant, has participated in the Wednesday Morning Leads Group since joining the Chamber in March 2018. When asked about the value of the Leads group, Wade said, “It provides members with the tools and capabilities to provide a limitless bound of service to those in need. Understanding the value of commerce is twofold, as we succeed by helping others succeed.”

Wade specializes in merchant services, financial capital, and website development, currently offering his expertise to eMerchant, a full-service payment acceptance agency, which offers a safe and efficient way to process payments while offering competitive rates and top-tier customer service.

“It’s been an honor to represent eMerchant and engage the city of Irvine through the Greater Irvine Chamber in order to refer business to the various levels of industry that are represented,” said Wade.

Second behind Wade, Kathy Lamm (Wednesday Afternoon Leads Group) earned $935,433 in closed sales, followed by Mike Borgman (Thursday Leads Group) with $522,250, and Matthew Sipes (Tuesday Leads Group) with $56,680. The total for all the groups for the second quarter in 2018 was $4,662,009.

The Rainmaker award recognizes the top individual from a Leads Group—Chamber members from non-competing industry—for referring business to fellow members resulting in the most closed business revenue.

The total in closed business through Leads Groups for the 2017-2018 fiscal year was $19,729,150. To view the breakdown of total closed business, click here.
