Jessica Yip has joined the Greater Irvine Chamber as Manager, Business and International Development. She will be helping manage a wide variety of robust economic development programs, activities and events developed by the Greater Irvine Chamber to impact, sustain, and grow Irvine’s economic vitality.
She brings to the Economic Development team four years of experience in workforce development. As an account manager at Vital Link, a business-to-education facilitator serving Orange County schools, Yip was focused on fostering strong industry partnerships for her organization and developing career education opportunities for young students looking to explore different vocational paths. As the lead for the Chamber’s Job Discovery Task Force, Yip was instrumental in the development and execution of the Irvine Career Discovery Day in partnership with the Chamber’s Business & Workforce Development Committee.
“My ability to create and develop strong working relationships with educational and business partners and organizations lends to my effectiveness as a Business & International Development Manager. I’m especially looking forward to connecting with and developing the relationships the chamber has with its International-American chambers and member businesses,” Yip said.
Yip holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, Davis.
