New Ambassadors Break a Greater Irvine Chamber Record
Monday, March 26, 2018
A record five Greater Irvine Chamber members became Ambassadors this month, far surpassing any other single month since the program was fully established several years ago.
Joining the Ambassador’s group in March are Tanya Brown, Tanya Brown Enterprises; John Forbes, Forbes Bookkeeping Service; Michelle Goodson, Brenda Williams Coaching; Brian Maravandi, alfaLINQ Business Solutions; and Tarana Nabizada, Tarana Nabizada - doTerra Essential Oils.
Ambassador training is, at a minimum, a three-month process, including attendance at Ambassador meetings and at least three different Chamber committee meetings; as well as assist at select business celebrations, new-member plaque deliveries, and Chamber events. Typically, five to six new Ambassadors complete the training and join the group each year.
Ambassadors are some of the Chamber’s most active members, and part of a dynamic group that takes the lead in welcoming new members to the Chamber and help existing members remain active and involved. Ambassadors also receive opportunities to volunteer for exclusive Chamber and member events.
