Nominations Being Accepted for Greater Irvine Chamber 2022 Women of Influence

Nominations and self-nominations for the Greater Irvine Chamber 2022 Women of Influence are now open and being accepted through Friday, February 18, 5:00 p.m. 

Eligible nominees must lead, serve, or work for an active business or nonprofit located or operating in Orange County, or attend a high school, college, or university in Orange County. 

The 2022 Women of Influence event, on Thursday, March 24, 11:30 a.m. — 2 p.m., will recognize an outstanding woman in each of eight categories who have positively impacted their industries and the business community in Orange County.


Entrepreneur - founded an organization and has excelled in strategy, operations, and finances. Achievement is not measured by business size but rather overall business success.

Innovator - initiated, developed, or contributed innovations in extraordinary ways to the organization or industry served.

Executive - effectively leads all or some part of an organization in exemplary ways.

Advocate - positively influences government and decision-making bodies to achieve favorable outcomes on behalf of her industry.

Authentic Leader - has emerged as a leader in her field. She has demonstrated leadership through honest relationships with colleagues, provided and supported mentorship, and facilitated an organizational culture of openness.

Game Changer - has developed a concept, idea, or procedure that affects a significant shift in the current manner of doing or thinking about something. Her ideas have had a positive impact on her industry or the community.

Rising Star - an early-career woman, volunteer, intern, or student who demonstrates the potential to make a significant leadership impact in the future. 

International Women’s Day Lifetime Achievement - a woman whose history, contributions, and achievements have had a profound impact, inspiring the next generation of women leaders.

Women of Influence 2022 will feature an interview-style discussion with Lynn Jochim, president and COO of FivePoint and the 2021 International Women’s Day Award recipientNada Lena Nasserdeen, MA, founder and CEO of Rise Up For You and TEDx speaker, will moderate the conversation.
