Orange County Soccer Club Announces New Family Game Night and 2021 Season

After a year of challenges unlike any other, The Orange County Soccer Clubis excited to announce its promotional schedule, The NEW Family Game Night, a series of innovative and safe programming options designed to bring fans back into our community safely. The New Family Game Night includes two post-match firework shows, three Beer Fests, a unique set of five specialty nights designed to support family fun, and a weeknight program designed around $1 beers and affordable food offerings. Additionally, the 2021 schedule features theme nights, premium giveaways, and community nights with more events being added prior to the season opener on May 22nd at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine at 7:00 PM. All promotions are subject to change as local and state guidelines also change.

Orange County is excited to have fans in attendance for the 2021 season and the club has been busy working with local officials to ensure the safest fan experience possible. Orange County SC will be implementing a number of fan safety protocols including; touchless ticketing, additional entry, and exit points, and socially distanced assigned seating. Promotional events for 2021 include; two Saturday Firework Nights, the “Dollar Beers & Cheap Eats” series, three Beer Fest events, Military Appreciation Night, “Girl Power” night, and our annual “Fiesta de Fútbol” celebration.

  • Saturday, May 22nd - OCSC Home Opener, all fans in attendance will receive schedule magnets to kickoff the season.  
  • Wednesday, June 9th vs San Diego Loyal SC - “Dollar Beers & Cheap Eats”
  • Saturday, July 17th vs Rio Grande Valley FC - Military Appreciation Night and soccer ball giveaway.
  • Saturday, July 24th vs Sacramento Republic FC - special premium giveaway. 
  • Saturday, August 7th vs LA Galaxy II - 405 Derby, Summer Beer Fest, and Fireworks Spectacular.
  • Wednesday, August 18th vs Tacoma Defiance - “Girl Power Night” including “Dollar Beers & Cheap Eats.”
  • Saturday, September 3rd vs El Paso Locomotive FC - Fall Beer Fest.
  • Saturday, September 25th vs Oakland Roots SC. - “Fireworks and Fenders:” A Car Show and Fireworks Spectacular.
  • Saturday, October 2nd Phoenix Rising FC - Winter Ale Beer Fest and Scottish Festival
  • Wednesday, October 13th vs Phoenix Rising FC - “Fiesta de Futbol” Celebration, including “Dollar Beers & Cheap Eats.”
  • Wednesday, October 20th vs San Diego Loyal SC - “Dollar Beers & Cheap Eats.”

Orange County Soccer Club (OCSC) is Orange County’s only professional soccer team and is part of the United Soccer League (USL), the fastest growing Division II professional soccer league in the world. The USL is comprised of 35 teams across the United States. The team plays its home games at the 5,500-seat Orange County Great Park Championship Soccer Stadium, located in Irvine, CA. OCSC’s strategic partner is historic the European power Rangers Football Club of Glasgow in the Scottish Premier League. OCSC signed the youngest male in United States soccer history to a professional contract, Francis Jacobs, in 2019 at the age of 14. The team also executed the first ever player move from the USL to Wolfsburg of the German Bundesliga with Bryang Kayo in early 2020, followed by the transfer of OC native Aaron Cervantes to Rangers FC in late 2020. OCSC’s preceding club, Orange County Blues, was one of 12 founding members of the USL during its inaugural 2011 season. Team owner and Chief Investment Officer of LARO Properties, James Keston, purchased and re-branded the team in 2017. Keston, who actively oversees all operations of the team, is dedicated to providing a pathway to professional soccer and a world-class soccer organization that focuses on the fans, players and youth clubs of Orange County.
