Linda DiMario, executive vice president, Greater Irvine Chamber, provided insights on business retention and expansion programs to chamber industry professionals during an in-depth workshop at the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) 2019 Academy, an annual event held in Sacramento.

DiMario discussed economic growth and business retention strategies with co-panelists Todd Sanders, president and CEO, Greater Phoenix Chamber, and Brittany Quick-Warner, CEO, Eugene Area Chamber, during the August workshop.

“As a leader in economic development in Southern California, the Greater Irvine Chamber is very proud of the scope and impact of our business retention program,” DiMario said. “Sharing its essential value with attendees at the Academy, along with the experiences of other Chamber executives, offers our colleagues a new way to think of their work and may help them mount and sustain similar programs in their communities.”

The three-year Academy program consists of three days of workshops focused on chamber management. Greater Irvine Chamber professional staff members Kaitlynn Irvine, director of events, Anna Spitz, communications manager, and Tracy Yannotti, finance administrator, had the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices in their areas of expertise with chamber professionals from throughout the Western United States during this year’s program.
