Thomas Lotts, agent, New York Life, has been named the Greater Irvine Chamber 2018-2019 Ambassador of the Year.
An Ambassador of the Chamber since 2017, Lotts has welcomed more than 50 new members to the Chamber, and has taken an active role in helping existing members remain active and involved in various capacities. He describes the Ambassadors Committee as the most rewarding group he is involved in.
“The Chamber has enriched my life, fostered many relationships and friendships, and I am most proud to be a member and Ambassador,” Lotts said. “Through my membership, I’ve had the opportunity to create a presence in the local community, to grow my business and to keep pushing the boundaries of success by establishing alliances, relationships, and friendships that have certainly transcended my business,” Lotts said.
Lotts also co-chairs the Chamber’s award-winning Business Outreach Rally, in which Chamber volunteers outreach to businesses, conducting primary research on challenges facing local businesses, and distributing the Chamber’s Business Outreach Resource Guide. He also serves as vice co-chair of the Chamber’s Business and Workforce Development Committee.
In addition to his work in these groups, Lotts regularly attends Chamber signature events Business Outlook, and Orange County World Trade Week, as well as Networkers Luncheons, Evening Business Exchanges, and After Hours Mixers. Lotts is also a regular attendee International Development Committee, Government Affairs Committee, and Economic Vitality Council meetings, and was a founding member of the Chamber’s Wednesday Morning Leads Group.
Lotts’ commitment to the mission of the Chamber and his work engaging members made him an obvious choice for being recognized as the 2019 Ambassador of the Year.
Congratulations, Thomas Lotts!
