Tuesday, July 02, 2019
As both Canada and the United States celebrate the founding of our great nations this week, MAPLE Business Council is excited to share a new report on the strength of the economic ties between Southern California and Canada entitled: Southern California & Canada: United through collaboration, defined by partnership, sustained by friendship. This report was commissioned by the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles and produced by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) through their Institute of Applied Economics.
The research not only provides the latest data to underline the importance of the economic ties between Canada and Southern California but also tells the story of the partnership between the country and the region through its narrative and examples of Canadian business contributions to the region.
The MAPLE Business Council participated in the production of the report, which profiles the MAPLE Business Council community in the research.
The MAPLE Business Council thanks the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles and the LA County Economic Development Corporation for their vision and research in producing this important new window on the economic collaboration between Canada and Southern California.
